First off, the official date of my performance at The Guitar Center drum off is Tuesday, October 1st at 7 p.m.  The store is located at the corner of Scholls Ferry Road and Cascade Blvd. next to the Malibu race track in Beaverton,OR, across from Washington Square mall.

Stark Raving Mad will be performing Thursday,October 26th, 9:30 p.m. at The Tonic in Portland. The Tonic is located on 30th and N.E. Sandy Blvd. This will be a very important gig for the band, and we really hope to see everyone there and supporting local music. Check out www.nightpiper.com. We will hopefully be associating ourselves with this promotion company for future shows.

Rush last night at the Rose Garden was simply outstanding. Even after three decades together, they've survived all trends and still dominate and fill arenas more than a lot of today's bands. Neil Peart is undoubtedly one of the greatest drummers to ever play a concert stage, next to maybe Buddy Rich.

I'd like to congratulate my good friend and one of my big drumming influences, John Vanover, and his wife Sandra on the birth of their first child,  John Edward Vanover was born on September 5th.
