NEWS AND UPDATES

January 2004

Happy new year to all!  This will be an interesting year with new resolutions to uphold.  Echoes finished it's EP, recently, and turned out great. If anyone is interested in a copy, please don't hesitate to let me know.  There are a lot of activities in the works, and I'll do my best to keep them posted. I wish all a great new year!

It was a great summer!  The family, and I went to Lake Chelan in Washington, and had a cabin in the woods. We had a fantastic time, and hope to do it again.  Echoes has been on a rollercoaster ride with bassist, but we're currently working one in as of this writing.  The band is also promoting itself for the South by southwest music fest in Austin, Texas this next spring. Hopefully all will go well.  After the departure of bassist Derek Reynolds, Al, and I went to the studio, and recorded three songs for a Jeff Buckley birthday show.  We recorded two of his tunes, and Present Tense (Echoes). Check them out on my audio link.

It's been a while since an update, and a lot has been happening. First off Stark Raving Mad is finished. After a dissappointing trip to L.A., the trip pretty much marked the end.  I've now dedicated myself to "Echoes", and the site can be viewed at http://www.echoes.ws .  We recently participated in the KUFO band search for Rockfest 8.0, but unfortunately did not get picked, but a lot of positives have come from it, and the band is moving forward.

Back at the end of April, I did a one off gig with a very talented 60's band in northern Washington which was a blast. They were great guys, and they're site can be viewed at http://www.60sexplosion.com

I cannot say enough about Echoes, so be sure to check out not only the website, but definately a show. See my events link for upcoming shows.

A New Band!

First off, I'd like to announce that I've found a group of musicians I'm extremely happy with. The group is called "Echoes" and the site can be viewed at www.echoes.ws.  This group should do very well.

S.R.M. is on gig hiatus, but still shopping demos. The L.A. trip was fun,and a few record companies have our promo. We did a lot of sightseeing and had a lot of fun.  The S.R.M. site has been slightly updated at www.srmband.com .
